The Colorado State Rams are making waves on the recruiting trail, and their latest addition is turning heads across the basketball world. Jaxon Clark, a 6-foot-10 forward from Keokuk High School in Iowa, has officially committed to the program, adding even more firepower to what is already the highest-ranked recruiting class in CSU men's basketball history.
Clark's senior season stat line reads like a video game: he averaged an incredible 27.9 points, 17.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, two blocks, and 1.3 steals per game. That dominant performance earned him Iowa Class 3A Player of the Year honors and cemented his legacy as Keokuk's all-time leading scorer, with over 1,600 career points.
Despite not having a star ranking from 247Sports, Clark attracted interest from a range of programs, including UTSA, Illinois State, Lehigh, St. Bonaventure, and Bowling Green. He chose to join the Rams on April 5, becoming the fourth member of CSU's 2026 class alongside Gregory "Pops" Dunson (Georgia), Jaden Ghoreishi (Washington), and Eric Fiedler (Colorado).
This historic class arrives at a pivotal moment for the Rams, who are preparing to move into the Pac-12 for the 2026-27 season. Clark becomes the 14th player on the roster, with one scholarship slot remaining—likely to be filled by a walk-on guard or wing.
As a developmental prospect, Clark may be a candidate for a redshirt season, allowing him to adjust to the college game while adding depth to the frontcourt. For fans of the Rams, this recruiting haul signals a bright future ahead as Colorado State continues to build a program capable of competing at the highest level.
