In 6A action, No. 7 Mountain Ridge edged out No. 10 Layton 2-1 to punch their ticket to the quarterfinals. Dallan Searle was the star for the Sentinels, netting a goal and adding an assist, while Juan Pardo also found the back of the net. Joseph Rudolphi scored Layton's only goal in the first half, but Mountain Ridge's defense held firm to secure the win.
No. 3 Farmington cruised past No. 14 American Fork with a commanding 3-0 victory, powered by a two-goal performance from Jack Burrup. Kade Mackintosh added a third, while defenders Tristin Sackett and Jaxon Beynon anchored a rock-solid backline that earned the shutout.
