The winter sports season in Section V has officially wrapped, leaving behind a trail of unforgettable performances and championship moments. Before we fully turn our attention to spring athletics, it's time to honor the local stars who dominated the courts, slopes, lanes, and tracks.

The Democrat and Chronicle, in collaboration with coaches across the region, is proud to present the 2025-26 Winter All-Greater Rochester Teams. This prestigious list celebrates the very best high school athletes and coaches from a thrilling season of competition.

This year's winter AGR teams span 14 sports, recognizing excellence in boys and girls alpine skiing, basketball, bowling, and Nordic skiing, alongside ice hockey, boys swimming, boys and girls indoor track, and boys and girls wrestling. These athletes represent the pinnacle of dedication, skill, and sportsmanship in Greater Rochester.

From buzzer-beaters and podium finishes to record-breaking swims and pins, these students have given fans plenty to cheer about. Celebrating these achievements is a highlight of the local sports calendar, and we congratulate every athlete and coach named to this distinguished list for their outstanding contributions to the winter season.
