The 2025-26 high school gymnastics season in Rhode Island has officially wrapped, and the state's top performers have been recognized. The Providence Journal's All-State First and Second Teams are out, celebrating the athletes who delivered incredible routines and led their teams to new heights this winter.
Headlining the First Team is Cranston West's standout, who successfully defended her All-Around title with a dominant performance. Her stunning floor routine scored a 9.550, contributing to a top All-Around score of 36.575. She also claimed individual titles on bars and vault, leading her team to the Division II championship. As a junior, she's already a two-time champion with her sights set on a remarkable three-peat next season.
Joining her is a gymnast from Prout, who made a massive leap from an 11th-place finish last year to a top-five All-Around spot this season. Her strong performance, including a sixth-place finish on beam, was instrumental in her co-op team's runner-up finish in Division II.
A sophomore from the Islanders also earned First Team honors after a breakout year, jumping from 10th place as a freshman to the All-Around runner-up. She showcased her versatility with top-three finishes on bars, beam, and floor, proving she's a rising star to watch.
In a display of event mastery, a West Warwick gymnast captured the beam title with a score of 8.850, securing her spot on the First Team. She'll return next season with the goal of defending her crown.
Consistency was the name of the game for a Mt. Hope junior, who earned her second consecutive First Team selection by finishing third in the All-Around for the second straight year. Her strong performances on floor and vault were key in leading the Huskies to a decisive state championship victory.
These athletes represent the dedication, power, and grace of Rhode Island gymnastics. Their achievements this season set a high bar and inspire the next generation of competitors. Congratulations to all the gymnasts named to the 2025-26 All-State Teams!
