Lincoln Lions Rally Past EWG Clippers, 7-5
In a classic back-and-forth battle, the Lincoln Lions broke a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the sixth inning, scoring twice to secure the hard-fought win. Brennan Robert delivered the clutch hit—a line-drive single that brought home Caden Oldham and Joey Cunha with the go-ahead runs. On the mound, Logan Xiarhos struck out five over five innings, while Carson Mellen shut the door with two scoreless frames of relief to earn the save. Oldham led the Lions' offense with two hits, two RBIs, and a run scored, while Lucas Marshall added two hits and Mellen went 2-for-3 with a run. For the Clippers, Chase Austin drove in two runs, and Game Niman and Liam Monahan each collected two hits in the loss.
North Kingstown Outlasts Coventry in High-Scoring Affair
Colton Kim led the Skippers with four hits and two RBIs, while Nicolas Martucci went 3-for-5 with two runs scored as North Kingstown outlasted host Coventry in a road victory. Five other Skippers drove in runs as the offense clicked on all cylinders. Bodie Forsell earned the win, striking out seven over five innings, and Chris Ciarniello finished with two innings of relief, fanning five while allowing two hits and two runs. For Coventry, Riley Wheeler and Angel Gail each drove in two runs, with Wheeler collecting three hits in the loss.
Cranston East Powers Past La Salle Behind Grand Slam
Marcelo Acosta made the most of his only hit—a towering grand slam in a six-run third inning that effectively put the game out of reach for Cranston East. Teammate Brayden Enright added a solo shot in the same frame as the Thunderbolts' bats erupted. Cameron Boulanger earned the win, allowing seven hits and two runs over six innings while striking out eight and walking just two. Cranston East racked up 11 hits, with Yadiel Ventura leading the way at 3-for-3. La Salle's Brian Abbruzzi slammed a solo homer in the top of the third, but it wasn't enough to slow the Thunderbolts' momentum.
