The NFL is putting the New York Giants in the spotlight for 2026, and for good reason. In John Harbaugh's first season at the helm, Big Blue is set to command the national stage with four primetime matchups that will have fans buzzing from coast to coast.
The season kicks off with a bang as the Giants host the Dallas Cowboys on "Sunday Night Football" in Week 1—a classic NFC East rivalry under the lights at MetLife Stadium. It doesn't get any easier in Week 2, when the team heads west for a "Monday Night Football" showdown against Sean McVay and the high-powered Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. That cross-country trip will test the Giants' mettle early.
Later in the season, the Giants get another Thursday night primetime slot at home against Washington, and they'll also travel to Ford Field for a second consecutive "Monday Night Football" clash with the Detroit Lions. These four marquee games signal that the league believes Harbaugh's squad is ready for big moments.
The schedule doesn't let up down the stretch. Three of the Giants' final five games are on the road, including a Week 14 trip to face the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. Led by head coach Mike Macdonald—a longtime Harbaugh assistant in Baltimore—the Seahawks will be a formidable test in what could be a pivotal late-season matchup.
Before the regular season begins, Giants fans can get an early look at their team in three preseason contests: a home game against the Minnesota Vikings, a road trip to the Miami Dolphins, and a unique "road" game at MetLife Stadium against the New York Jets.
