When the 2026 NFL Draft begins in Pittsburgh this week, one second-round pick will realize more than their dream of earning their place in the NFL – they will also never have to worry about running out of ketchup again.
Heinz announced it will award a lifetime supply of ketchup to the No. 57 overall pick in the NFL draft, launching a new tradition dubbed "Mr. 57," the Pittsburgh-based condiment company announced in a news release.
The player chosen with the 57th pick – currently owned by the Chicago Bears – will receive a custom "Mr. 57" jacket, free ketchup for life and the chance to partner with Heinz in future promotions.
This campaign pays tribute to the famous "57" that has appeared on Heinz bottles for over a century.
Devin Hester, a former Chicago Bear and Hall of Famer, is helping the company welcome the first honoree.
"As a former 57th pick, I know firsthand how much that number can mean," Hester said in a statement. "Hearing your name called on Draft day is a moment you carry for life, so it’s an honor to welcome the first ‘Mr. 57’ into the club."
The 57th draft pick won't be the only one celebrating during this year's edition of the NFL draft. Fans across the country will be able to join in on the fun from home.
When the 57th overall pick is officially on the clock, fans can unlock $25 off Uber Eats orders from select restaurants through the delivery platform, according to the company.
