Fantasy football season may feel like it's miles away, but for savvy drafters, the real work starts now—especially if you're hunting for those league-winning sleepers. While training camp battles are still months off, one of the best ways to uncover hidden value in mid-May is by targeting teams with wide-open depth charts. And this year, two AFC pass-catching rooms are ripe with opportunity: the Las Vegas Raiders and the Miami Dolphins.

Both squads enter 2026 with new coaches, new quarterbacks, and a whole lot of targets up for grabs. In Las Vegas, the receiver pecking order is anyone's guess. Tre Tucker led the team in targets last season and remains in the fold, but the Raiders also made a splash by signing Jalen Nailor to a surprisingly hefty contract. Add in second-round rookie Jack Bech, and you've got a trio all jockeying for looks behind superstar tight end Brock Bowers. With Klint Kubiak taking over as offensive coordinator and at least 104 targets from 2025 needing a new home, there's plenty of volume to go around.

Our 2026 Wide Receiver Rankings reflect just how murky this situation is. Tucker sits at WR57 in consensus, but Dave Richard doesn't even have him in his top 60. Nailor checks in at WR59, while Bech is nowhere to be found among anyone's top 60. The takeaway? At least one of these pass-catchers is going to massively outperform their draft slot—we just don't know who yet.

If you're looking for a bet, Tucker is my guy. He finished 2025 with 57 receptions for 696 yards and five touchdowns, including a monster Week 3 outburst against the Commanders where he scored three times. Sure, he only had four other double-digit fantasy outings all season, but that was on a Raiders team that ranked 28th in net passing yards and 25th in passing touchdowns. With Kirk Cousins and rookie Fernando Mendoza expected to breathe life into the aerial attack, Tucker's breakout potential is real.

Nailor and Bech are deeper dart throws, but if I'm choosing between a 27-year-old who's never cracked 500 receiving yards and a second-year player with room to grow, I'm taking the upside. Keep these names on your 2026 sleeper list—one of them is about to become a fantasy star.
