This week's standout performances on the diamond came from two athletes who delivered in the clutch. Central Kitsap's Addie Hasty and Olympic's Toby Moore have been voted the Kitsap Sun Athletes of the Week for March 30-April 3, earning the honor through a fan-driven online poll.

The award highlights local talent, with coaches nominating players and the community deciding the winners. It's a fantastic showcase of the dedication and skill thriving in our high school sports scene.

Addie Hasty was a force at the plate, powering Central Kitsap softball to three wins. She went on an incredible tear, racking up eight hits in just 11 at-bats and driving in three runs. This hot streak boosted her season batting average to an impressive .583, a testament to her consistent performance and sharp hitting eye. Her efforts earned her 285 votes from the fans.

On the baseball side, Toby Moore delivered a pitching masterpiece for Olympic. He authored a perfect game over five dominant innings, shutting down every Foss batter he faced and tallying 11 strikeouts. That kind of command and composure on the mound is what every team dreams of, and it secured him 104 votes to claim the weekly honor.
