MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — We’re used to seeing Harlem senior guard Mateo Perera firing in three-point basketball. Wednesday, we got a look at his penmanship. Perera signed with the University of Dubuque to continue his education and his basketball career. Perera was named First Team All-NIC-10 this past season. He averaged more than 16 points per game. He also shot 40 percent from the field. He also became Harlem’s all-time scoring leader.To hear from Perera, watch the media player above.
