Manchester City faced off against Burnley at Turf Moor earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s men made a bright start to the game and scored the opening goal in the fifth minute thanks to Erling Haaland’s composed finish. The Mancunian outfit controlled the game well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Man City sat on their narrow advantage well and secured an important 1-0 win away from home.

He made one solid save at the back and earned a crucial clean sheet tonight.

Nunes cleared the danger when he could and made one key chance going forward.

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field.

Guehia made a few important interceptions inside his half and was a rock at the back for the visitors.

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.

Silva worked his socks off at the centre of the park and engineered a lot of decent chances for others around him.

He did his fair share of defending and was not shy of having a strike at goal.

Semenyo caught the eye at times on the right flank but failed to register a goal.

He was a constant menace in the final third, but there was no goal for him.

Doku caught the eye at times on the left wing and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

He was a real handful for the opposition defenders and did well to score the opener in the fifth minute.
