The 2026 Schuylkill League regular season has officially wrapped up, and the stage is set for an electrifying playoff showdown. Six talented teams are now battling for the league championship—a title that has proven to be a springboard to state glory. In fact, each of the last three Schuylkill League champions have gone on to win state championships: Pine Grove claimed the crown in 2025, following the dominant runs of Blue Mountain, which achieved the feat in both 2023 and 2024.
Blue Mountain secured the Division I regular-season title with an impressive 13-1 league record, while Tri-Valley took home the Division II crown at 12-2. Joining them from Division I are Pine Grove (12-2) and North Schuylkill (11-3), while Schuylkill Haven (11-3) and Williams Valley (11-3) round out the Division II qualifiers. The action kicks off Monday at 4:30 p.m. with a doubleheader at Blue Mountain’s Patton Field, followed by a second matchup at 6:30 p.m. Semifinals are set for Tuesday at the same times, and the championship game will take place Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and seniors, and $3 for students.
Schuylkill Haven vs. Pine Grove – Monday, 4:30 p.m.
The first game features an intriguing contrast: upstart Schuylkill Haven (14-7, 11-3) takes on the defending Class 3A state champions, Pine Grove (18-2, 12-2). Expect a compelling pitching duel between Haven’s Allison Scherer (4-4, 3.10 ERA) and Pine Grove’s Jamie Dinger (11-2, 0.44 ERA). Pine Grove enters after a rare 5-2 loss to Blue Mountain on Tuesday—only their fourth defeat since the start of the 2025 season. Otherwise, the Cardinals have been nearly untouchable, outscoring opponents 213-22 this year. Watch for slugger Callee Leffler, who’s smashed 11 home runs with 38 RBI and a .688 batting average, while teammates Hannah Aungst (27 RBI) and Lilly Flynn (20 RBI) provide plenty of firepower.
Schuylkill Haven, meanwhile, was seen as a wild card this season with a young roster. After a slow 3-6 start, the Hurricanes found their rhythm, winning 11 of their final 12 games. Look for Aisley Jenan (.544 average, 15 extra-base hits, 31 RBI) and Joie Schoffstall (20 extra-base hits, 29 RBI) to lead the charge at the plate.
Williams Valley vs. North Schuylkill – Monday, 6:30 p.m.
The nightcap promises another can’t-miss matchup. Williams Valley and North Schuylkill both bring strong credentials, setting the stage for a high-stakes battle as they vie for a spot in the semifinals.
