As the season enters its thrilling final stretch, the Ghirls are gearing up for a pivotal showdown against Rangers in the penultimate league fixture. With just two league games and a Scottish Cup final left on the calendar, every moment counts for Grant Scott's squad as they aim to finish the campaign on a high note.

Speaking exclusively to Celtic TV ahead of the match, Scott shared that his team has been putting in the hard yards on the training pitch, determined to bounce back from last weekend's narrow 2-1 defeat to league leaders Hearts. "It's been good work from the girls this week," Scott said. "They've applied themselves well for several weeks now. We're in good shape, looking fit and well, and we'll be fully prepared going into it."

On the injury front, Scott delivered some tough news: midfielder Maria McAneny will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing minor surgery. "She's back home and recovering, but it's a bit of bad news on that front," Scott confirmed. "Everyone else should be good to go."

The Hoops face a unique challenge ahead, with Rangers appearing twice in their final three matches—including this weekend's league clash and the upcoming Scottish Cup final. But Scott is taking it one game at a time, keeping his squad focused on the task at hand. "Rangers have a lot to play for and are in decent form," he noted. "They've got a knack for winning games right now, which we haven't been able to build up as consistently this year. So, it will be a tough opponent and a tough game."

Despite the challenge, confidence is high in the Celtic camp. With a strong week of preparation behind them and a clean bill of health for the rest of the squad, the Ghirls are ready to hit the pitch and fight for three crucial points. As the season winds down, every match feels like a cup final—and this one is no exception.
