The Los Angeles Chargers used the 63rd pick in the 2026 NFL Draft on Florida offensive lineman Jake Slaughter, with the expectation he will help keep quarterback Justin Herbert upright.
Slaughter spent time in the middle of the line during his career at Florida, but will have a chance to show he can be versatile along a front line that features Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt. He was announced as a guard when his name was called by Chargers legend Shawne Merriman.
Slaughter spent five years with the Gators and started 33 games.
