The North Decatur Chargers secured a hard-fought team victory in a three-way high school golf match at Arbor Crossing Golf Course on Friday. Posting a winning team score of 193, the Chargers edged out the host Rushville Lions, who set a new season-low with a 197. Waldron finished third with a 213.

North Decatur's win was powered by strong individual performances. Micah Smith fired a season-low 47, matched by teammate Owen Arnold's career-best round of 47. Aiden Luttel (48) and Scott Morford (51) rounded out the Chargers' scoring four, showcasing the depth needed for team success in golf.

Rushville's runner-up finish featured several personal milestones. Landon Cain and Tressler Owens both carded personal-best rounds of 49 and 50, respectively, while Ryder Flannery led the Lions with a 48. In other local action, the Batesville Bulldogs faced a strong field at the Yorktown Invitational, finishing 12th out of 23 teams with a score of 326. Ian Hixson led the Bulldogs with a solid round of 75 on the challenging TPC Woodland Trails course, a venue that tests every club in the bag.
