On Thursday, May 14, 2025, the Allianz Training Center in Vinovo became more than just a hub for football excellence. Inside its Conference Room, Juventus hosted a powerful training session focused on one of society's most pressing issues: gender-based violence. Organized by the club's Psychology Department as part of the FIGC-SGS Child Protection and Well-being Project, this event underscored that football's influence extends far beyond the pitch.

The session featured a deeply moving testimony from Gino Cecchettin, President of the Giulia Cecchettin ETS Foundation. Cecchettin spoke directly to Juventus' coaches and technical staff from both the women's and men's youth sectors, sharing his personal story and outlining the Foundation's mission. Through awareness campaigns and innovative projects, the Foundation aims to spark social and cultural change—creating a world where every individual feels safe, respected, and valued.

This training is part of a broader, season-long initiative by the FIGC-SGS Child Protection and Wellbeing Project. The program is designed to educate everyone involved in youth sports—from team leaders and coaches to trainers, doctors, and physiotherapists—on how to foster healthy, informed development in young athletes. By choosing to focus on gender-based violence this season, Juventus is making a bold statement: that respect, responsibility, and awareness are as important as tactics and technique.

The club didn't take this journey alone. In partnership with the Libellula Foundation—an organization dedicated to preventing and combating gender-based violence since 2022—Juventus is actively working to build a culture free from violence, discrimination, and stereotypes. Together, they promote equality, inclusion, and freedom, both within the sporting arena and in the wider community.

For Juventus, this isn't just a one-off event. It's a renewed commitment to creating a sporting environment built on individual care, educational responsibility, and the protection of young people. Because at the end of the day, true champions are made not just through skill, but through character.
