The NFL will release its regular season schedule Thursday night.

The NFL is set to release its full regular season schedule Thursday night, but details about the New York Giants' 2026 slate are already rolling in. From primetime showdowns to a reunion with a familiar face, here's everything we know so far about the Giants' upcoming campaign.

First up, the season opener is already locked in. In Week 1, the Giants will host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football—a primetime debut for new head coach John Harbaugh. That game is set for Sept. 13 at 8:20 p.m. on NBC. It's a marquee matchup to kick off a new era in East Rutherford.

Speaking of Harbaugh, his first season will feature another primetime spotlight. In Week 10, the Giants will host the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football (Nov. 12). That's a rivalry game under the lights that fans won't want to miss.

There's also a notable return in Week 3. Former Giants head coach Brian Daboll, now the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans, will come back to MetLife Stadium on Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. It's sure to be an emotional afternoon as Daboll faces his old team for the first time.

The Giants' home schedule is filling up nicely. Here's a quick look at the confirmed matchups at MetLife Stadium:

- Week 4 (Oct. 4): vs. Arizona Cardinals, 1 p.m.

- Week 6 (Oct. 18): vs. New Orleans Saints, 1 p.m.

- Week 11 (Nov. 22): vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m.

- Week 13 (Dec. 6): vs. San Francisco 49ers, 1 p.m.

- Week 15 (Dec. 20): vs. Cleveland Browns, 1 p.m.

That's a challenging mix of opponents, with playoff contenders like the 49ers and Browns visiting the Meadowlands late in the season.

As for international travel, the Giants won't be heading overseas this year. They were in the mix to be the Detroit Lions' "road" opponent in Munich, but that spot went to the New England Patriots instead. The Giants have marketing rights in Germany and played there in 2024 (a loss to the Panthers), but they'll stay stateside in 2026. Their previous international games were all in London (2007, 2016, 2022), where they were the designated road team each time.

The Giants will open the season with three of their first four games at home, with only a Week 2 road trip breaking up that stretch. That early home-heavy schedule could give Harbaugh's squad a chance to build momentum before the tougher stretches arrive.

Stay tuned for the full schedule release Thursday night—and get ready to gear up for what promises to be an exciting season in Giants football.
