The Georgia Bulldogs continue to build momentum in their 2027 recruiting class, securing a commitment from Jaxon Dollar, the nation's No. 2 tight end and No. 19 overall prospect in the Rivals300. Standing at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, Dollar is poised to make an immediate impact in what is already considered the premier tight end room in college football.

During his junior season at East Lincoln High School in Denver, North Carolina, Dollar earned 4A/5A Player of the Year honors after hauling in 54 receptions for 1,190 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also showcased his versatility on defense as an outside linebacker, recording 38 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and five sacks.

Dollar's athleticism extends beyond the gridiron—he also drew interest as a basketball recruit, receiving an offer from UIC after averaging 21 points, 10.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 3.2 steals last season.

His commitment keeps Georgia's 2027 class firmly in the top-10 nationally, even following the recent decommitment of cornerback Jerry Outhouse. The Bulldogs' 2027 class now features a strong foundation of elite talent.

Under head coach Kirby Smart, Georgia has developed a tight end pipeline that is the envy of the country. Since 2019, seven Bulldogs tight ends have been selected in the NFL Draft, including Isaac Nauta, Charlie Woerner, Tre' McKitty, John Fitzpatrick, Brock Bowers, and most recently Oscar Delp in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Coming out of spring practices ahead of the 2026-27 season, Georgia's current tight end group—featuring Lawson Luckie, Elyiss Williams, and Ethan Barbour—has been widely praised as the top unit in the nation. With Dollar now in the fold, the future looks even brighter for the Dawgs' offense.
