The Philadelphia 76ers will be looking to avoid elimination on Tuesday when they take on the Boston Celtics in Game 5 on the road. The Sixers trail this series 3-1 following a blowout loss at home in Game 4 and will now need to dig deep to keep their season alive on the road.
As far as the injury report is concerned, Joel Embiid is listed as probable for the Sixers. He was able to play in Game 4 just 17 days after an emergency appendectomy on April 9. The big fella will be looking to help Philadelphia stave off elimination and keep the season alive for at least another day.
Injury report for tomorrow @ BOS in Game 5:PROBABLE: Joel Embiid (post appendectomy surgery recovery) #Sixers
Embiid had 26 points in the Game 4 loss while playing 34 minutes on the night. He shot only 9-for-21 from the floor, but the Sixers getting him back on the floor is obviously a big help.
Tip off from the TD Garden is set for 7 p.m. EDT on Tuesday night.
