Full-back Angus Mawson has signed a new deal with Cornish Pirates to stay at the club for the 2026-27 season.
Mawson joined the Championship side after a trial last October, having previously played in Australia's Shute Shield with the Warringah Rats.
The 22-year-old, who can also play at fly-half, has scored two tries in 11 appearances so far.
Joint-head coach Gavin Cattle said he is a player who is "hungry to develop".
"He has embraced playing at 15 and is a clever ball-playing 10 with excellent distribution skills," Cattle said.
"We look forward to watching him develop and take his game to the next level."
