Florida State's football program has seen another key staff member depart for the Big Ten, as the UCLA Bruins have hired Marianna McCourt. McCourt served as FSU's coordinator of recruiting operations and will now take on the role of director of recruiting operations for UCLA under new head coach Bob Chesney.

This move reunites McCourt with former FSU general manager Darrick Wray, who also made the jump to Westwood. McCourt, a 2025 Ole Miss graduate where she worked as a student assistant for on-campus recruiting, was only with the Seminoles for under a year after being hired in May 2025.

Her impact in Tallahassee was notable, as she played a crucial role in helping FSU secure the No. 19 recruiting class for the 2026 cycle. That class, the largest of the Mike Norvell era with 34 prospects, included 12 four-star recruits, headlined by cornerback Chuck Kennonk.
