Florida State softball is celebrating a season for the ages, as the ACC announced its conference awards on Wednesday, handing the Seminoles four major honors and placing eight players on All-ACC teams. It's a testament to a team that dominated conference play and is now poised for a deep postseason run.

Leading the charge is junior shortstop Isa Torres, who was named both ACC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Torres joins Jessi Warren as the only FSU player to sweep both awards in the same season—a rare feat that highlights her all-around brilliance. In 24 conference games, Torres hit an eye-popping .475 with 10 home runs and 24 RBI, tallying 38 hits in 80 at-bats. She also scored 38 runs, smacked seven doubles and three triples, and was flawless in the field, recording zero errors on over 130 chances as the lone shortstop and one of just two middle infielders in the league to achieve that mark.

In the circle, pitcher Jazzy Francik earned ACC Pitcher of the Year honors, becoming the eighth Seminole in program history to win the award. Francik posted a 9-1 record with a stellar 1.87 ERA over 63.2 innings in conference play. She also threw two no-hitters and three complete-game shutouts, anchoring an FSU staff that kept opponents off balance all season.

Head coach Lonni Alameda was named ACC Coach of the Year for the second straight year—and the eighth time overall—after guiding the Seminoles to a 21-3 record in conference play and securing the regular-season ACC Championship. Alameda's leadership has kept FSU at the top of the conference, and her players are reaping the rewards.

The All-ACC selections were equally impressive. Torres, Francik, and outfielder Jaysoni Beachum were named to the First Team. Second Team honors went to infielder Ashtyn Danley, outfielder Shelby McKenzie, and pitcher Marin Heller, while catcher Anna Hinde and infielder Hayley Griggs earned Third Team nods. Griggs, Hinde, and Heller also made the ACC All-Freshman Team, showcasing the program's blend of veteran talent and rising stars.

For FSU fans, this is a moment to savor: a team loaded with individual accolades that has its sights set on a championship. Whether you're repping the Seminoles in the stands or on the field, this squad is one to watch.
