The Florida State Seminoles have been named one of the top six schools for 2027 four-star offensive lineman JJ Brown.

The Florida State Seminoles are making a strong push on the recruiting trail, securing a spot in the top six for 2027 four-star offensive lineman JJ Brown. Standing at an imposing 6-foot-6 and 305 pounds, Brown has been on FSU's radar since receiving an offer back in February, followed by an unofficial visit to Tallahassee in April.

With roughly 30 offers on the table, Brown has narrowed his focus to six powerhouse programs: Georgia, Clemson, Florida, Auburn, Kentucky, and Florida State, according to 247Sports. This is a significant list, packed with SEC and ACC heavyweights, and it signals that Brown is one of the most sought-after linemen in his class.

Brown is set to kick off his official visit schedule soon, starting with Clemson on March 29. He'll then head to Georgia on June 5, Auburn on June 12, and Kentucky on June 19—all multi-day trips. Notably, there's still room for another official visit, which could open the door for Florida State to host him before he makes his decision.

Ranked as the No. 328 overall prospect and the No. 32 offensive tackle in the nation by 247Sports Composite, Brown is also the No. 35 recruit in talent-rich Georgia. A commitment is expected in July, so the Seminoles have a window to make a lasting impression. For an FSU program looking to bolster its offensive line depth, landing a player of Brown's caliber would be a major win for the future.
