Florida State has extended an offer to safety Andre Scott out of Port Charlotte, Florida. He's a 2029 prospect.

The Florida State Seminoles are already looking ahead, extending a scholarship offer to an emerging talent in the 2029 recruiting class. Safety Andre Scott, a standout from Port Charlotte, Florida, announced the offer on social media, marking the seventh Division I opportunity for the young prospect.

"After a great conversation with @evancooper2, I’m blessed to receive my 7th division one offer from Florida State University #AGTG ✝️," Scott shared.

Scott's recruitment has been on a rapid ascent. The USF Bulls were the first to offer him last September, but the floodgates have opened in 2026. Louisville, Liberty, North Carolina, Auburn, and Florida have all joined the chase, showcasing his growing stock as a defensive back.

On the field, Scott made an immediate impact as a freshman at Port Charlotte High School. He racked up 63 tackles, one tackle for loss, three interceptions, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and even blocked a field goal. His play earned him Player of the Week honors twice in 2025 and an invitation to the prestigious UA Next showcase in Orlando this past February.

For a 2029 prospect, Scott is already demonstrating the versatility and instincts that college scouts covet. With Florida State now in the mix, his recruitment is one to watch as he continues to develop.
