Nathan Ake's time at Manchester City appears to be drawing to a close, with the Dutch defender reportedly offered to three Serie A giants as the summer transfer window approaches. The 31-year-old hasn't started a Premier League game for the reigning champions since their 2-0 derby defeat to Manchester United back in January—a telling sign that Pep Guardiola may have moved on.

According to reports from Tuttomercatoweb and Sport Witness, Ake's representatives have approached Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Juventus about a potential move. AC Milan, who tried to sign him in the winter window, remain interested, while Inter and Juventus are also in the mix. West Ham United, who came close to landing Ake in January, continue to monitor the situation from the Premier League side.

The rise of Abdukodir Khusanov has been a key factor in Ake's diminished role at the Etihad. With Ruben Dias, Marc Guehi, and Josko Gvardiol all available, Guardiola now has a wealth of defensive options, making Ake's exit seem increasingly likely. He joins Bernardo Silva and John Stones in what could be a significant summer overhaul for City.

However, a move to Italy won't be straightforward. Ake currently earns around €190,000 per week at City, which would require a pay cut to fit into Serie A's strict wage structures. For context, AC Milan's highest earners—Christopher Nkunku and Adrien Rabiot—make €178,000 per week. City, meanwhile, value Ake at €10-15 million, but with his contract running until 2027, they may need to lower that price tag or consider a loan deal to facilitate the transfer.

For Ake, a move to Italy could offer a fresh start and regular playing time—something that's been hard to come by in Manchester this season. For Serie A clubs, adding a proven Premier League defender could be a game-changer, provided the finances can be worked out.
