The race for Juventus left-back Andrea Cambiaso is heating up, with Manchester City reportedly rekindling their interest in the Italian international as Liverpool and Tottenham also circle.
According to reports from Italy, City first tried to bring Cambiaso to the Etihad in January 2025 but couldn't finalize a deal. His agent later confirmed that Pep Guardiola was keen on the signing, and the Premier League champions have kept tabs on him ahead of the summer window.
As relayed by Sport Witness from Tutto Juve, Liverpool, Tottenham, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Barcelona have all shown serious interest in the 26-year-old, who has become a regular starter for Juventus this season. His current valuation sits between €40-50 million, though that could drop to around €30-35 million if Juventus fail to qualify for the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League.
Journalist Mirko Di Natale reports that Manchester City and five other clubs have made direct contact to inquire about Cambiaso's availability, with the left-back attracting significant attention as the summer window approaches. Inter Milan, who tried to sign him in January but were rebuffed, could return with a swap offer involving Carlos Augusto.
For City, Liverpool, and Tottenham, Cambiaso's versatility and technical quality make him a standout target. He fits the profile that City's director of football Hugo Viana has consistently pursued: a technically gifted, positionally adaptable defender in his mid-twenties with plenty of room to grow.
This interest comes as City also navigate Josko Gvardiol's contract situation, adding further intrigue to their summer plans. With multiple Premier League giants in the mix, Cambiaso could be one of the most talked-about defensive moves of the window.
