DeAndre Hopkins has caught passes from some of the NFL's biggest names—Deshaun Watson, Kyler Murray, Ryan Tannehill, Patrick Mahomes, and Lamar Jackson. In fact, over his 13-year career with the Texans, Cardinals, Titans, Chiefs, and Ravens, the wide receiver has played with 17 different starting quarterbacks. But now, as a free agent, Hopkins has one clear preference for who he'd like to throw him the ball next.

At the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, Hopkins was asked which quarterback he hasn't played with he'd most want to catch passes from. His answer came without hesitation: Joe Burrow.

"I think Joe is one of the best," Hopkins told Sports Illustrated. "I love his game, his toughness. He took his team to a Super Bowl early in his career, and I feel like he can get back there with a little bit of help."

This isn't the first time Hopkins has expressed interest in teaming up with the Bengals star. He previously mentioned a desire to play with Burrow after catching a pass from him during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic. Of course, the five-time Pro Bowler has also talked about reuniting with Murray in Minnesota—but at this point, Hopkins is a free agent looking for any opportunity to keep his career going.

Last season with the Ravens, the veteran wideout appeared in 17 games but managed just 22 receptions for 330 yards and two touchdowns—a far cry from his prime years. Still, at 33, Hopkins believes he has enough left in the tank to help a contender. And with a quarterback like Burrow, who led Cincinnati to a Super Bowl in just his second season, that partnership could be exactly what both need to make a deep playoff run.
