As the 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League season enters its final stretch, Brentford have once again joined forces with Fantasy Football Scout to deliver expert hints, tips, and advice that could make all the difference in your mini-leagues. With Gameweek 37 on the horizon, here's what you need to know from the Bees' recent action.

Gameweek 36 brought a mix of near-misses and standout performances for Brentford. Early on, Michael Kayode (£4.6m) sent a dangerous throw-in toward goal, only for the ball to be cleared off the line in a frustrating moment for the Bees. The right-back later showed his creative vision, threading a perfectly weighted pass to Igor Thiago (£7.3m), whose shot was denied by Gianluigi Donnarumma (£5.6m). In stoppage time, Thiago again tested the goalkeeper, this time from a Dango Ouattara (£5.7m) cross, but the result remained the same.

At the other end, Caoimhín Kelleher (£4.8m) was the hero for Brentford, racking up seven saves to earn valuable bonus points. Defensive contributions also came from Kristoffer Ajer (£4.4m), Mathias Jensen (£4.9m), and Mikkel Damsgaard (£5.6m)—the latter reaching the DefCon threshold in just 18 minutes off the bench. These efforts have lifted the Bees to eighth in the table, just four points behind sixth place. That spot could become a Champions League berth if Aston Villa finish fifth and win the Europa League, adding extra incentive for Brentford's push.

One player to watch closely is FPL midfielder Kevin Schade (£6.8m). The 24-year-old had two penalty shouts in Gameweek 36, first when Thiago played him through to cut across the defender, and again when Thiago squared the ball to him at close range. Throughout the season, Schade has been a consistent threat: he ranks joint-fifth among midfielders for shots inside the box (50), leads the league in headed attempts (23), and tops the charts for Opta-defined big chances (20). He netted six times in his first 17 appearances but has managed just one goal in the subsequent 16 outings—suggesting he's due for a resurgence. Schade finished last season strongly, and with Crystal Palace up next, the Eagles may have their eyes on the upcoming Conference League final, potentially leaving gaps for the German to exploit.

Interestingly, Gameweek 36's top three scorers were all defenders, with James Tarkowski (£5.7m) leading the way on 15 points. This serves as a reminder that defensive assets can be just as valuable as attacking ones in the final weeks. As you finalize your Gameweek 37 lineups, keep an eye on Brentford's key men like Schade and Thiago, who could be poised for a big performance.
