Fox acquired two more regular season NFL games, the company announced during its third quarter earnings call.

Fox is doubling down on football, announcing the acquisition of two additional regular-season NFL games during its third-quarter earnings call. The network, a longtime partner of the league, is expanding its coverage with a pair of high-profile matchups.

The first game is set to be an international showdown in Munich during Week 10, bringing the NFL's global expansion to the forefront. The second will take place on a Saturday in Week 15, adding a prime-time feel to the late-season slate. CEO Lachlan Murdoch confirmed the news on Monday, emphasizing the strong relationship between the network and the league.

"I think the important note to take here is that there is no tension with the NFL. We have been partners for 30 years. We're looking forward to being partners for the next 30 years," Murdoch said during the call. He also noted that Fox has had "no substantive discussions with the NFL" about renegotiating or extending its current contract, which still has four years remaining.

While speculation has swirled about the NFL seeking renegotiations with its media partners—following reports that the league is using a change-in-ownership clause to reopen talks with Paramount after Skydance's acquisition—Fox appears to be in a stable position. Industry insiders suggest that once discussions with Paramount wrap up, the NFL will likely turn to Fox next. But for now, the network is focused on adding more games to its roster, giving fans even more reasons to tune in.
