The North American Hockey League has announced its All-Central Division Team, and the Austin Bruins are well-represented with four standout players earning the honor. Forwards Siamion Marshchanok and Matsvei Marshchanok, defenseman Nathan Williams, and goaltender Jack Solomon were all named to the team, alongside Aberdeen Wings forward Matthew Martin and defenseman Cooper Anderson.
In their debut NAHL season, the Marshchanok twins quickly became a force to be reckoned with. The duo finished the regular season ranked first and second in the Central Division in both points and assists, while also placing among the top two in the entire league in plus/minus. Siamion Marshchanok shattered Bruins records with 87 points, 57 assists, and a staggering 1.53 points per game. His brother Matsvei was right on his heels, tallying 54 assists, 80 points, and a 1.36 points-per-game average.
On the blue line, veteran defenseman Nathan Williams proved why he's one of the league's elite. The third-year Bruin led all NAHL defensemen in points (64), assists (54), power-play assists (37), and plus/minus (+39). Williams earned Defenseman of the Month honors in January after racking up five goals and ten assists for 15 points, and he strung together an impressive 17-game point streak from December 12 to February 7—one of the longest in team history.
Between the pipes, Jack Solomon stood tall in a competitive Central Division goaltending group. The Air Force commit led all division netminders in goals-against average (1.84), wins (27), save percentage (.934), and shutouts (6). Solomon's consistency was remarkable—after a brief hiccup in November, he never lost back-to-back games again. He closed the season on a tear, winning all eight of his final appearances while posting five shutouts, including one in each of his last three starts. A perfect weekend against the Bismarck Bobcats on April 3-4, where he stopped all 59 shots he faced, earned him his first Star of the Week honors and helped the Bruins clinch the regular-season division title.
