The Fossil Ridge High School graduate was picked in the third round of the 2026 NFL draft by the Las Vegas Raiders on April 24. He was selected with the 91st overall selection.
He's the first Fossil Ridge player ever picked in the NFL draft and the first player from a Fort Collins school since 1998.
The Zuhn family moved to Fort Collins from Texas when Trey was a kid. He quickly became a star at Fossil Ridge, eventually becoming a four-star recruit.
The Class of 2021 recruit was one of the top-25 tackles in the country in his class and had a bevy of suitors to choose from, eventually landing on Texas A&M. Zuhn lived near Texas A&M as a child before the family moved to Fort Collins and his dad played for the Aggies.
His final three in recruiting was Texas A&M, Ohio State and Oklahoma State. His older sister, Riley, played volleyball at Nebraska, also one of the schools that offered him.
Zuhn starred at Texas A&M. He was a four-year starter, mostly at tackle, and was named to the 2025 All-SEC football first-team.
According to Pro Football Focus, Zuhn had the country's highest pass blocking grade (96.9) and allowed just one sack in 382 pass snaps during the 2025 season.
Zuhn is as experienced as a college player can be. He played 54 college games with 50 starts.
Zuhn, who measured at 6-foot-6 and 1/2 and 312 pounds at the NFL combine made all but one of those starts at left tackle. The other start was at center, where he most experts project him to play in the NFL.
He was third-team All-SEC in 2024 and first-team All-SEC in 2025, serving as a team captain each of his last two seasons.
"Zuhn is an alert, athletic blocker who understands his strengths and reverts to what he does best to win reps," writes Dane Brugler, The Athletic's draft guru. "He offers interior flex and will have starter-caliber upside in the right situation."
Brugler also says of Zuhn: "Coachable and razor sharp, he should have little trouble handling the complexities of center in the NFL."
