Jennings, a physical 6-foot-3, 212-pound receiver, spent the first five seasons of his professional career with the San Francisco 49ers (2020-2025). During that span, he proved to be a reliable target, hauling in 210 receptions for 2,581 yards and 22 touchdowns across 75 games. His best season came in 2025, where he posted 55 catches for 643 yards and an impressive nine touchdowns on 90 targets.

Before making waves in the NFL, Jennings was a fan favorite at Tennessee, playing for the Volunteers from 2015 to 2019 under head coaches Butch Jones and Jeremy Pruitt. In 48 collegiate games, he racked up 146 receptions for 2,153 yards and 18 touchdowns, while also adding 93 rushing yards and one touchdown on 25 carries. His toughness and versatility made him a standout in the SEC.

Drafted by the 49ers in the seventh round (No. 217 overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft, Jennings faced an early setback when he was waived in September 2020, but he quickly bounced back, landing on the practice squad before eventually earning a spot on the active roster.
