Former Tennessee quarterback Kaidon Salter was not selected in the NFL draft. He received a rookie minicamp invitation from the Titans after the draft.
Salter was at Tennessee in 2021, but was dismissed by head coach Josh Heupel in June 2021 after being arrested for simple possession of marijuana and driving without a license.
He was also involved in another on-campus incident during his time with the Vols. Following his dismissal from the Tennessee program, he transferred to Liberty. Salter played for the Flames from 2021-24 and was named Conference USA Most Valuable Player in 2023.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound quarterback appeared in eight games at Colorado in 2025. He completed 113-of-179 passing attempts for 1,242 yards, 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. Salter also totaled 293 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.
He went to Tennessee from Cedar Hill High School in Cedar Hill, Texas. Salter committed to the Vols over Auburn, Baylor and Ole Miss.
