The NFC North just got a little faster. Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Scotty Miller has reportedly found a new home, signing with the Chicago Bears after a brief stint in the Steel City.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bears are bringing in the speedy wideout following a tryout during their rookie minicamp. Miller clearly made a strong impression, enough to earn a spot on Chicago's 90-man roster as they gear up for the upcoming season.

Miller's NFL journey has been a winding one. He entered the league with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2019, where he spent four seasons and played a key role in their Super Bowl LV victory. After a stop with the Atlanta Falcons in 2023, he joined the Steelers for the 2024-2025 season. Now, at 27 years old, he's heading to the Windy City to add depth and explosiveness to the Bears' receiving corps.

Through 93 career games—including nine starts—Miller has hauled in 99 receptions for 1,216 yards and six touchdowns. While those numbers don't jump off the page, his game-breaking speed has always been his calling card. He's the kind of player who can turn a quick slant into a 60-yard house call, making him a dangerous weapon for any offense.

The Bears are clearly looking to inject some vertical threat into their passing game, and Miller fits the bill. Meanwhile, the Steelers have completely reshaped their wide receiver room this offseason. They traded for a 1,000-yard receiver and used an early draft pick on a promising rookie in the 2026 NFL Draft, signaling a new era in Pittsburgh's aerial attack.

For fans of both teams, this move adds an intriguing layer to an already exciting offseason. Whether Miller can carve out a consistent role in Chicago remains to be seen, but one thing's for sure: with his wheels, he'll always be a threat to take the top off a defense.
