Haden offered a straightforward solution to break the stalemate, pointing out that Rodgers currently has no formal offer to consider. "The Steelers haven’t offered him nothing, so he doesn’t have anything to turn down," Haden noted. "Steelers, if you want to get an answer, throw that man a deal... Now it’s up to him to give us an answer before the draft. ‘Cause I’m like, time’s a tickin’."

After signing a one-year, $13.65 million contract last season, Rodgers posted solid numbers, completing 65.7% of his passes for 3,322 yards and 24 touchdowns.
