Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Kyle Van Noy might be switching sides in the AFC North—and he's already got his eye on a familiar rival. The 12-year veteran, currently a free agent, recently opened up about his future on the "Up & Adams" podcast, and his comments have Bengals fans buzzing.

When host Kay Adams asked Van Noy about a potential move to the Pittsburgh Steelers, he didn't hold back. "I'm worried I wouldn't get enough playing time with all that talent—T.J. Watt, Nick Herbig, Alex Highsmith," he explained. It's a rare moment of humility from a seasoned pro, but Van Noy quickly pivoted to a more intriguing possibility: Cincinnati.

"I got to know Joe Burrow at the Pro Bowl," Van Noy said, his tone shifting to admiration. "Seeing how locked in he was for a flag football game—that competitive edge is real. He turns it on like nobody else." He didn't stop there, calling Burrow a top-three quarterback in the NFL and adding, "He's cerebral. If you know, you know. He's that dude."

When pressed about actually suiting up for the Bengals, Van Noy laughed off the idea of swapping roles with star pass rusher Trey Hendrickson but then got serious. "Yeah, they just got Dexter Lawrence. They have B.J. Hill. Some young guys on the edge like Myles Murphy." Translation: Van Noy sees a defense that's bulked up in the trenches but still needs a veteran presence to tie it all together.

For a Bengals squad that's been busy retooling this offseason—adding muscle to the defensive line while grooming young linebackers like Demetrius Knight Jr. and Barrett Carter—Van Noy could be the missing piece. His experience, playoff pedigree, and ability to read offenses would accelerate that development and give Cincinnati's defense a much-needed steady hand behind the front four.

Whether this turns into a real signing or just offseason chatter remains to be seen. But one thing's clear: Kyle Van Noy sees a fit in the Queen City, and he's ready to bring his championship mindset to a division rival.
