Former Florida Gators guard Xaivian Lee is back in the spotlight, earning his second invitation to the NBA G League Draft Combine—this time for the 2026 edition. The three-day showcase, scheduled for May 8–10 at Chicago's Wintrust Arena, will bring together 44 of the top draft-eligible prospects to compete in front of NBA and G League scouts, coaches, and front-office executives.

This is a pivotal moment for Lee, who previously received an invite to the same event in 2024. Participants will go through five-on-five games, as well as strength and agility drills, with a select few earning a coveted spot at the NBA Draft Combine 2026 later that week based on their performance.

The G League Combine has a strong track record of launching NBA careers. Notable alumni include former Gator and current Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard, along with New York Knicks guard Jose Alvarado, Dallas Mavericks forward Caleb Martin, Brooklyn Nets guard Terance Mann, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Max Strus, and two-time Kia NBA G League MVP Mac McClung—who also happens to be a three-time AT&T Slam Dunk champion.

Lee is no stranger to proving himself on big stages. Just a month ago, he turned heads at the Portsmouth Invitational, earning Player of the Game honors after dropping a game-high 25 points on 7-for-12 shooting, plus five rebounds, three assists, and three steals in a winning effort for team Mike Duman, Inc.

During his lone season with the Gators in 2025-26, Lee started all 35 games at point guard, averaging 11.6 points and a team-high 4.2 assists. The previous year at Princeton, he put up impressive numbers—16.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game—while shooting 43.9% from the field and 36.6% from three-point range. That performance earned him his second consecutive unanimous first-team All-Ivy League selection.

Off the court, Lee also made history as the 10th Florida player to earn Academic All-America honors last season. With his combination of skill, work ethic, and big-game experience, he's a name to watch as the draft process heats up.
