Former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Adoree' Jackson is set to test the free-agent market—and he could be heading straight into enemy territory. According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Jackson is scheduled for a visit with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday, a move that would pit him directly against his former team in the NFC East.
If Jackson signs with the Cowboys, Dallas would become his third stop in the division. The veteran defensive back spent four seasons with the New York Giants from 2021 to 2024 before joining the Eagles last year.
During the 2025 season, Jackson appeared in 14 games for Philadelphia, recording 55 tackles, one interception, and 11 passes defensed. While his coverage numbers were solid—he allowed a 62.7% completion rate and an 80.2 passer rating when targeted—Pro Football Focus graded him at 54.1 overall, ranking 90th among cornerbacks. Still, his versatility is a major asset: Jackson has experience playing both on the boundary and in the slot, making him a valuable depth piece.
The Cowboys are clearly in need of cornerback reinforcements. Both Shavon Revel and DaRon Bland have battled injuries and inconsistent play, with Bland's struggles now stretching into a second season. Adding Jackson would give Dallas a seasoned option to compete for snaps alongside rookies like Devin Moore and veterans such as Cobie Durant and Caelen Carson.
Jackson also brings return experience to the table, which could further boost his value in Dallas. For a team looking to shore up its secondary depth, his visit represents a low-risk, high-reward opportunity—and for Eagles fans, it's a reminder that the rivalry never rests, even in the offseason.
