The NFL free agency period has been buzzing for nearly two months, but a few notable names lingered on the market—until now. One of those was former Miami Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson, who has finally found a new home.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the 28-year-old signal-caller has agreed to terms with the Baltimore Ravens, adding depth to an already intriguing AFC North roster. Thompson's journey began at Kansas State, where he spent six seasons before the Dolphins selected him in the seventh round (247th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. In Miami, he appeared in 10 games with three starts, completing 58.7% of his passes for 721 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions—a solid if unspectacular stint for a late-round pick.

After his time with the Dolphins, Thompson signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. Unfortunately, a hamstring injury suffered in practice sidelined him for most of the year, limiting his opportunity to prove himself. Now, he'll compete for a role in Baltimore's quarterback room, which features reigning MVP Lamar Jackson, veteran Tyler Huntley, and young arms Diego Pavia and Joe Fagnano.
