The Miami Dolphins made several tough decisions this offseason after finishing their 2025 campaign with a 7-10 record and in third place in the AFC East.

Among those was the choice to move on from some players who played key roles for the team in recent years, including one-time Pro Bowl fullback Alec Ingold, who had one year left on his three-year extension.

After his release, Ingold signed a two-year, $7.5 million deal with the Los Angeles Chargers to reunite with former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, who will serve as the team's offensive coordinator for the 2026 season.

In his first media availability since joining the team, Ingold dropped an incredible line to describe his style of play to local reporters.

It might be simple, but it's not wrong. Ingold has been an incredible lead blocker while rushing for 56 yards and two touchdowns and catching 75 passes for 611 yards and four scores.
