Marquise Lee is proving that it's never too late to finish what you started—both on and off the field. The former USC wide receiver and Biletnikoff Award winner officially graduated from the university on Thursday, years after leaving for the NFL.

Lee made history in 2012 as the first Trojan to win the Biletnikoff Award, given annually to the nation's top college wide receiver. That season, he was a unanimous AP All-American and the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year after leading the country with 118 catches for 1,721 yards and 14 touchdowns. His dominant performances helped set the stage for future USC receivers like Makai Lemon, who went on to win the same award and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2026.

After three standout seasons with the Trojans, Lee entered the 2014 NFL Draft and was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round (39th overall). Like many elite athletes who leave school early, he put his degree on hold to chase his professional dreams. But this week, he returned to the USC campus to walk the stage and receive his diploma.
