Former Arizona State football player Case Hatch is featured in the third season of WWE's LFG (Legends and Future Greats), which chronicles the training and development of wrestling hopefuls trying to break into WWE.

The season's first episode aired on April 26. It airs on Sunday nights on A&E Network.

Hatch, 28, is one of 28 athletes training under some of the WWE's most veteran performers in Natalya Neidhart, Kevin Owens, Booker T, and Bubba Ray Dudley at the WWE's Developmental Training Center in Orlando.

Hatch, who goes by the ring name Tate Wilder, got his first introduction to the sport the year before he left ASU, when he was chosen for the second class of athletes in its NIL program, Next In Line, which identified athletes at the collegiate level whom the organization considered possible talent once their eligibility had been exhausted. Recruits were educated on careers in WWE, given tours of the facilities, and given advice on branding and advertising.

When Hatch finished at ASU, he and his wife, Sammy, moved to Orlando so he could pursue the sport full-time. He was slowed by a knee injury upon his arrival and later sustained a broken hand.

The Perry High School product played at ASU from 2019 to 2022, starting at linebacker but moving to fullback. He was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection as a freshman for his special-teams play.
