Football’s Back at TCO; Vikings Held Rookie Minicamp

Football is officially back at TCO Performance Center, and the Minnesota Vikings kicked things off with a high-energy rookie minicamp last week. The team wasted no time getting their newest players on the field, signing eight of their nine draft picks—with linebacker Jake Golday's "gold day" temporarily delayed. Beyond the draft class, the Vikings brought in a strong group of undrafted free agents, including linebacker Kamara Bangally from Kansas and defensive lineman Vilbert Smith Vilbert from North Carolina.

In a major roster move, the Vikings added veteran wide receiver Jauan Jennings on a one-year deal worth up to $13 million with incentives. Jennings, formerly of the San Francisco 49ers, brings size, skill, and playoff experience to the WR3 role. His arrival is a huge boost for a receiving corps already featuring superstars Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, giving quarterback options and taking some pressure off the top targets.

Off the field, the Vikings are making headlines too. The search for a new general manager is heating up, with ownership lining up interviews. The team is also preparing for an international showdown against the 49ers in Mexico this season. And in a moment every Vikings fan will celebrate, Adrian Peterson has been selected for induction into the Vikings Ring of Honor.

From roster moves to big-picture news, it's an exciting time in purple. For the full breakdown, tune into the Vikings Territory Breakdown Podcast with Joe Oberle and Mark Craig. Skol!
