Redditch United has issued a strong apology following reports of misogynistic abuse directed at a Worcester City staff member during Monday's match at Sixways Stadium. The club has condemned the "completely unacceptable" behavior, emphasizing its zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of discrimination.

West Mercia Police confirmed they received reports of sex-based harassment at the fixture. Security removed two individuals, aged 15 and 27, from the away section, and their details were taken for a voluntary interview at a later date.

In a firm statement, the club confirmed that those responsible will face banning orders once police inquiries conclude. Club Chairman David Faulkner reinforced the club's commitment to inclusivity, stating, "Redditch United is proud to be a welcoming and inclusive club... any behaviour that falls below the standards we expect has no place at our football club."
