Checkout what the betting line movement can tell us about all the fights at UFC 328.

UFC 328 is finally here, and the action kicks off this Saturday, May 9, 2026, live from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., streaming exclusively on Paramount+. The main event features a massive Middleweight title showdown between Khamzat Chimaev and Sean Strickland—a rematch that has fight fans buzzing, especially after their infamous sparring footage resurfaced. Could this be a trilogy fight after Chimaev landed a kick on Strickland just yesterday? Either way, the stakes couldn't be higher.

The co-main event is a Flyweight title clash between Joshua Van and Tatsuro Taira, a matchup that feels surprisingly overshadowed given the gold on the line. Don't let that fool you, though—this should be an electrifying scrap between two hungry contenders.

Rounding out the main card, we've got Alexander Volkov taking on Waldo Cortes-Acosta, King Green facing Jeremy Stephens, and Sean Brady going head-to-head with Joaquin Buckley. The "Prelims" are headlined by Ateba Gautier vs. Ozzy Diaz, with additional bouts featuring veteran Jim Miller against Jared Gordon, and Joel Alvarez squaring off with Yaroslav Amosov.

I've been tracking the betting lines for every fight on UFC 328, watching the movements to see which fighters the public is rallying behind. Below, you'll find all the line movement data since the odds were first released (courtesy of Best Fight Odds). So far, the shifts have been predictable—partly because there's no Polymarket line for this event on Best Fight Odds (more on that later).

Chimaev opened as a hefty -400 favorite and immediately drew heavy action, pushing him to -513. He's continued to trend in that direction ever since. This marks Chimaev's biggest opening line since his 2022 fight against Kevin Holland, where he opened at -1000 before being bet down to -549. Interestingly, against Dricus du Plessis, he opened at -225 and closed only slightly shorter—which seems absurd given how one-sided that fight turned out. Against Robert Whittaker, Chimaev opened at -195 and again saw only lukewarm public support. He even opened as a +170 underdog against Kamaru Usman, but the public backed him heavily, closing him as the favorite.

For Strickland, this is the second time he's opened at +300 odds—the same line he had when he fought Israel Adesanya. History might be on his side, but the betting public seems to be leaning heavily toward Chimaev this time around.

Whether you're a seasoned bettor or just looking to get in on the action, keep an eye on these line movements—they often tell the real story behind the hype. Gear up for fight night with the latest UFC apparel and show your support for your favorite fighters!
