"After a great conversation with @Coach2Bless @TeamKamMartin i’m blessed to receive an offer from Florida State," Buchanan shared on social media, announcing the milestone. The offer places Florida State in a competitive race for the freshman phenom, who already holds approximately 40 scholarship offers from powerhouse programs including Georgia, LSU, Penn State, Miami, Oregon, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss.

What makes Buchanan such a coveted prospect at such an early stage? A highly productive freshman season where he showcased his versatility by playing multiple positions. On the ground, he rushed for 698 yards on 95 carries, scoring eight touchdowns and surpassing the 100-yard mark three times. Through the air, he added 232 receiving yards on 15 catches with another score, demonstrating the kind of dual-threat ability that college coaches dream of developing.

Buchanan hasn't been idle on the recruiting trail, either. He visited USC in November 2025, followed by a trip to UCLA in January. The Trojans hosted him again on March 24, and just two days later, he made the journey to see Ohio State.
