Florida State will welcome a class that spans championship seasons, record-setting performances and Olympic stages when eight former Seminole standouts and one longtime administrator are inducted into the FSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2026.
Florida State Athletics announced Monday that the induction ceremony will be held Friday, Sept. 25, at the University Center Club on campus.
The 2026 class includes football stars Nick O’Leary and Bjoern Werner, baseball All-American Sean Gilmartin, former athletics director Dave Hart, soccer great Kassey Kallman, three-time NCAA track champion Maurice Mitchell, the school’s first beach volleyball Hall of Fame selection Jace Pardon and two-time Olympian diver Katrina Young.
In addition to the Friday night banquet, inductees will be recognized Saturday during Florida State’s home football game against Central Arkansas.
A limited number of tickets for the induction ceremony will be available at a later date through Seminole Boosters Inc.

One of the top pitchers in program history, Gilmartin was a freshman All-American and first-team All-ACC selection in his first season at Florida State. He earned second-team All-America honors as a freshman and was a first-team All-ACC pick again as a junior. In 2011, he posted a 12-3 record with a 2.09 ERA and 130 strikeouts. He finished his Seminole career 33-13 with a 3.57 ERA and 321 strikeouts before being selected in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Atlanta Braves. Gilmartin played six seasons in the majors with the New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays.
Dave HartCoaches and Administration (1994-2007)Hart served as Florida State’s director of athletics from the 1994-95 season through 2006-07. During his tenure, the Seminoles won a national championship in football and two men’s outdoor track titles, along with 33 Atlantic Coast Conference championships. Under his leadership, 263 student-athletes earned All-America honors and 577 received ACC recognition. Hart helped develop a comprehensive plan of excellence for all sports and worked with Seminole Boosters to design, fund and construct state-of-the-art athletics facilities.
Kassey KallmanSoccer (2010-13)Kallman started all four seasons as a defender on Florida State teams that finished fifth, third, third and second nationally. She was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2013 while earning consensus first-team All-America honors. As a freshman in 2010, she was a first-team Freshman All-American and an All-ACC Freshman Team selection. She later earned first-team All-America and first-team All-ACC honors as a junior. Seminole defenses posted 57 shutouts during her career.
Maurice MitchellTrack and Field (2009-12)One of the most accomplished sprinters in Florida State, ACC and NCAA history, Mitchell was a 13-time All-American and three-time NCAA champion, including two outdoor titles in the 200 meters. He was named ACC Indoor Track Performer of the Year three times and Outdoor Performer of the Year twice. A 14-time ACC champion, Mitchell earned both indoor and outdoor all-conference honors in all four seasons. He represented the United States at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
O’Leary is regarded as one of the top tight ends in Florida State and ACC history. He lettered as a freshman and started each of his final three seasons. As a senior in 2014, he won the John Mackey Award as the nation’s best tight end and earned consensus first-team All-America honors. He was a third-team All-American as a junior and a freshman All-American in 2011, along with All-ACC honors from 2012-14. O’Leary finished his FSU career as the most productive tight end in school history with 114 receptions for 1,591 yards and 17 touchdowns. He later played five seasons in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Jace PardonBeach Volleyball (2012-16)Pardon becomes the first Florida State beach volleyball athlete inducted into the Hall of Fame. She earned All-America honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. When FSU joined the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association in 2016, Pardon and her partner were named CCSA Pair of the Year and tournament MVPs. She was a first-team All-CCSA selection and all-tournament honoree in 2016 and set the school record at the time with 155 career victories.
A native of Berlin, Germany, Werner developed into one of Florida State’s premier pass rushers. He earned unanimous All-America honors in 2012 after being named ACC Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection. He was an honorable mention All-ACC pick as a sophomore. Werner totaled 99 tackles, 35 tackles for loss and 23.5 sacks in his three-year career before going on to play three seasons in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts.
Recruited from Shoreline, Washington, Young established herself as one of the top divers in Seminole history. She earned All-America honors on the platform as a freshman in 2013 and on the one-meter board as a senior in 2015. Young won ACC championships on the platform in 2012 and 2014 and captured the conference title on the one-meter board as a senior. She earned all-conference honors in all four seasons and competed for the United States at the Olympic Games in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro and 2020 in Tokyo.
