Florida State baseball clinched its final road series win of the season with a 6-3 victory over Clemson on Sunday.

Florida State baseball closed out its final road series of the regular season in style, powering past Clemson with a 6-3 victory on Sunday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The win gave the No. 14 Seminoles (36-15, 17-10 ACC) the rubber match and the series-clinching triumph they needed heading into the postseason stretch.

It was a day for the bats in Clemson, as FSU racked up 15 hits—tying their best output since losing star slugger Myles Bailey to a season-ending injury against Duke. But while the offense was clicking, the Seminoles also left 15 runners on base, keeping the Tigers within striking distance and avoiding what could have been an early run-rule finish.

John Stuetzer led the charge, going 3-for-5 with two RBIs, while Nathan Cmeyla and Carter McCulley each went deep and finished with multiple hits. Brody DeLamielleure extended his hit streak to 14 games with a 3-for-6 day that included an RBI. The power surge was part of a bigger theme: FSU launched six home runs in the series and eight total on the week, counting a midweek win over Jacksonville.

On the mound, starter Bryson Moore delivered a gritty six-inning outing, allowing just one run on five hits while striking out four on 75 pitches. He kept the Tigers off balance with soft contact all afternoon. The only run he surrendered came in the fifth inning, when a fielding error on a sacrifice bunt attempt by Jack Crighton allowed Jarren Purify to cross the plate.

The scoring started early for FSU. Cmeyla kicked things off with a solo home run off the right field foul pole in the second inning. McCulley followed with an RBI single, and Stuetzer added a sacrifice fly to give the Seminoles a 3-0 lead after two frames. McCulley wasn't done—he launched a two-out solo homer in the fourth to stretch the lead to 4-0.

Clemson scratched across a run in the fifth on that bunt-induced error, but Stuetzer answered right back with an RBI single in the sixth. The Tigers capitalized on another miscue in the seventh, this time when Ben Barrett misplayed a two-out infield fly, allowing a run to score instead of ending the inning. But FSU slammed the door in the eighth, as DeLamielleure knocked an RBI single to plate Stuetzer, who had led off the frame with a double.

With this series win, Florida State continues to build momentum as they eye a strong finish to the regular season. For fans looking to rep the Seminoles in the stands or on the diamond, now's the perfect time to gear up in FSU baseball apparel—because when the bats are hot, you want to be dressed for the occasion.
