Jenks junior ATH Kailib Dillard announced his commitment to Florida's football program Tuesday afternoon.

Big news out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, as Jenks High School safety Kailib Dillard has officially committed to the University of Florida's football program for the 2027 recruiting class. The announcement came Tuesday afternoon, marking a major win for the Gators on the recruiting trail.

Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 185 pounds, Dillard is a versatile athlete who made his mark on both sides of the ball during the 2025 season. On offense, he hauled in 71 catches for 1,210 yards and 14 touchdowns. On defense, he showcased his instincts as a safety, racking up 75 tackles, five interceptions, and four pass breakups. That two-way dominance earned him a spot on The Oklahoman's 2025 All-State Football second team.

Dillard chose Florida over a host of powerhouse programs, including Georgia and Oregon. He also held offers from Auburn, Kansas State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, and Penn State, among others. His decision adds a key piece to the Gators' future secondary.

Ranked as a three-star recruit and the No. 46 safety in the nation by the 247Sports composite rankings, Dillard is also No. 12 on The Oklahoman's initial Super 30 list of the state's top college football recruits in the 2027 class. That ranking reflects his rapid rise as one of Oklahoma's most sought-after prospects.

Dillard's commitment comes after a strong season with the Jenks Trojans, who finished with a 10-2 record. The team advanced to the Class 6A-I state semifinals, where they fell to Owasso in a 39-36 thriller. For Florida fans, landing a player with Dillard's size, athleticism, and big-game experience is a promising sign for the future of their defensive backfield.
