After Florida baseball won its series vs Oklahoma the Gators climbed in every national poll.

Florida baseball is climbing the national rankings after a statement weekend series win over Oklahoma. The Gators (31-17, 13-11 SEC) dropped the opener 4-3 on Friday but bounced back in a big way, taking the next two games with authority—10-5 on Saturday and a dominant 13-2 run-rule victory on Sunday.

That resilience didn't go unnoticed. In the latest USA Today Coaches Poll, Florida jumped from No. 25 to No. 20, joining nine other SEC teams in the rankings, including four in the top 10. The Gators also made moves in other major polls: D1baseball.com bumped them from No. 25 to No. 21, Baseball America vaulted them from No. 17 to No. 13, and Perfect Game pushed them up from No. 23 to No. 20.

Beyond the polls, Florida's strength of schedule continues to impress. As of May 5, the Gators boast a No. 14 RPI (Rating Percentage Index), a key metric used to evaluate postseason resumes. They've gone 14-6 against top-25 opponents and lead the nation with 15 Quadrant 1 victories—a stat that speaks volumes about their ability to win in high-pressure situations.

With the regular season winding down, Florida is building serious momentum. Whether you're cheering from the stands or repping the Gators at home, this team is proving they belong in the conversation among college baseball's elite.
